Andrea Navedo is an American actress and published author. She began by appearing in daytime soaps like One Life to Live or Guiding Light, and later had roles as a supporting actress on television's primetime. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx, New York) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo was the first professional actress to appear in dramas for daytime. Between 1995 and 1997, she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap show One Life to Live. The show was relaunched as the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she appeared in a very small part in Girl 6 and then went into the role of New York Undercover. Navedo first made her debut in film in the film Girl 6 (1996), then starred in episodes of New York Undercover as well as The District. Navedo was a part of NBC's crime drama Law & Order for a regular role as the Detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. later he starred in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in several movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo was a regular character for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 and 2013. Superfast!, a comedy movie in which she starred. The Fast and the Furious Parody which was released in 2015. is a parody of the popular Fast and Furious Film Series. Navedo began her professional acting career with the daytime soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, Navedo portrayed Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Her film debut came by playing a minor role of Girl 6 (1996) and later guest-starred in scenes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo played the role of Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
